Our College is a diverse, caring and scholarly learning community dedicated to build management and leadership skills in an individual, needed to reach one’s career goals. The college has an academic program that builds your expertise and confidence to become a well-rounded student. The College is inspired by its core values of integrity, civility and responsibility and is guided by its rights and responsibilities.

President’s Introduction

California College is committed, above all, to academic excellence and intellectual rigor in the context of personal and institutional integrity, and to operating in a fiscal and in an efficient manner while continuing to serve our Commonwealth, our region and the global community.

In recent years the College has dealt with changes in the administration, experienced drastic adjustments to our financial picture and recognized the need to refocus on our College’s core mission. This strategic plan is based on three tenets that directly align with the College and the State System’s mission.

California College has a lot of committed faculty, motivated students, and exceptional facilities. You can select from a wide variety of academic programs.

As it was pointed out many times, we are all responsible for the success of our College. The strategic plan that follows is intended to identify and to encourage all members of the California College community to commit to a wide range of goals and objectives that the College will strive to achieve over the coming years.

We tend to focus on five primary goals that are closely aligned with the College’s mission. It intends to ensure that California College is committed, above all, to academic excellence and intellectual rigor in the context of personal and institutional integrity, and to operating in a fiscally efficient manner in our region and the global community

The strategic plan focuses the College on three key initiatives to assure the success of the College in the coming years. Those initiatives are:

• Enhancing the academic excellence and experience of our students.
• Operating with sound and efficient fiscal and governance practices.

Our vision

This college aims to be one of the most prestigious and well-known educational institute at worldwide range as it offers students the chance to be exceptional and to build one-of-a-kind character to represent themselves. In addition to that, it prepares students for the real world as it gives them extensive career-building experience.

Furthermore, California College students will be a part of a supportive learning environment. Faculty, staff, and academic advisors genuinely care about students and go the extra mile to help them find success.

The key to happiness is a controversial issue that is debated frequently; however, we believe that the key to happiness and success is having a satisfying career. Thus, California College makes sure that you obtain the needed skills and to graduate having what it needs to prosper on a social and economic scale.

We also make sure to recruit and retain a distinguished faculty who challenge and mentor students to attain their fullest potential, as California College’s faculty members are leading entrepreneurs, and executives of large and small companies, and their accomplishments are significant. We will also maintain an administrative staff dedicated to the highest professional standards and service. In addition to that, we are looking to recruit and retain a talented, diverse and highly motivated student body, and maintain a learning community known for its academic excellence, intellectual rigor and civil discourse.

We will instill not just learning but the love of learning in our students and that is because we are widely known as a center for thought, inquiry, dialogue and action in matters of character and leadership. Thus we will be widely known for high quality of selected master’s-level graduate programs. We will also incorporate continuous improvement into all programs and activities to ensure competitive excellence in order for them to prepare students for the world of work or further education from multiple locations through multiple technologies in order to meet their needs.

Moreover, we will instill a culture of philanthropy among students, faculty, staff and alumni in order to create an ever larger community of supporters and an endowment that will perpetuate the work of the College and enable constant innovation and renewal.

California College’s (2017-2022) Strategic Plan, Charting Our Path, is operational and prescriptive, as well as balanced by plans at the faculty and academic support unit levels.
